Hi, my name is Alexander Kwaschny and I am a professional software developer from Germany. I have been working in the industry for the last 16 years.
Developing software, especially web applications, is something I always wanted to do since I got my first computer and discovered the world wide web. It all began at the age of 11, when I started to learn HTML and CSS during primary school and attended computer science class in secondary school, learning VBS and Delphi. After finishing school, I completed the apprenticeship as Application Developer learning x86 Assembly, VB Classic, C#, VB .NET and MS SQL while teaching myself about JavaScript, PHP and MySQL in my spare time. After military service, I began to study Applied Computer Science (B. Sc.) at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, learning C, Java and other fundamental things.
I find great joy in keeping up with the latest technological advancements and enjoy learning new tech stacks and programming languages. As a firm believer in the power of continuous learning, I actively seek out opportunities to expand my knowledge, which not only keeps me engaged but also ensures that I stay at the forefront of the rapidly changing software landscape.
Nowadays, I primarily develope eCommerce solutions and marketing tools in Java/ColdFusion and JavaScript/Node for a small local company, gaining more and more experience with modern technologies and software architecture every day.
